Land + Water exhibition – Tasmania

A new exhibition has opened at the Scottsdale Art Gallery to run throughout April.

The work of Launceston artist Edna Broad the show features 28 pieces under the theme of Land + Water – Tasmania.   

The exhibition has a variety of mediums from paper to canvas, board to ceramics. 

Pastel, Acrylic, oil watercolour are just some of the mediums Edna incorporates into her work. 

She completed a ‘Masters of Fine Arts’ and then graduating with a PhD in 2005 after decades in her artistic career that spans more than 50 years.

A finalist in the John Glover art prize exhibition several times, Ms Broad has shown throughout Australia and overseas and has collections at both the Queen Victoria Museum Launceston and the Melbourne’s Australian National Gallery.
