Accomplished horse woman Jinx Hogarth had an outstanding result at the Campdrafting Tasmania championships.

Competing with three horses the Pipers River farmer came away with two runners up and a win in two categories.

On Beau, a horse she bred, she won the restricted open class.

Another of her mounts, Mexico, was judged second after she had to ride the two in run-off against each other in the Cleveland Pastoral Restricted Open Draft.

She followed that up with a runner-up performance in the Open Draft aboard Icarus.

The secretary of the club, Lynne Lucas, said the titles held at the Hamilton Showground attracted 35 riders with 105 runs over two days.

The riders, or their mounts, are awarded points for cutting out a cow, then navigating it around a cloverleaf course in 40 seconds.

She said Ms Hogarth, who is also a committee member, had performed well to be rewarded with her results.

The Victorian-based judge Ben Wade said competitors were reaching a good standard.

Other North-East rides in the State finals were Molly Cornish and Georgie Dare.
