Magpie captain Joey Robinson has become the 25th Scottsdale player to notch up 200 senior games, and his feat will be acknowledged by the club on Saturday.

The 30 year old Robinson played his first senior game with the club in 2008 before joining Launceston in the statewide league where he remained until 2010 when he returned to his home club.

Robinson won the club’s senior best and fairest in 2011 and has been club captain for the past four years.

“My aim remains to win a premiership, but I’m still enjoying playing and have made some lifelong friends along the journey,” he said.

Club president Cameron Moore said Robinson is a much respected member of the club.

“Joey has been a great player for many years, and the club looks forward to him continuing on to win that elusive premiership,”he said.
