Players of the Branxholm Imps went home victorious last week after defeating the Devils in the North-East Ladies Darts Association (NELDA) in the grand final at the Branxholm Hotel last week.
After a tight game, the Imps defeated the Devils 7-4.
NELDA secretary Jan Rainbow said the Branxholm Hotel was packed with spectators.
“We had a fantastic crowd come along and support the players. We could barely move there were so many people there,” she said.
“All of the players showed good sportsmanship and there were some excellent darts thrown.
“There were lots of really high scores throughout the game, which made it exciting to watch.”
NELDA overall association individual winners for the season Mandi Edwards, Kate Musicka, Lyn Mullins and Kristy Clarke were presented with their awards.
Players enjoyed a delicious supper after the game at the Branxholm Hotel of scallops and rice.
