Scottsdale Football Club and the district’s service clubs are clubbing together to provide some safety fencing at the redeveloped Aminya home.
The proceeds from a football club raffle have been donated to help the project along.
The home’s clinical nurse manager, Kerry Hills, said it was hoped to have the fence installed before the end of the year, so residents are able to enjoy the warmer weather on the outside lawn area with views across the rolling farmland and forest.
Scottsdale Rotary Club president Shane Roach said there had been a number of donations, like the concrete for a supporting plinth, promised.
Working bees would also help with some of the installation.
The Lions Clubs of Scottsdale, Bridport and the North-East had also committed to helping with the fence project.
