Book characters invade school
Characters escaped from the pages of books for some hi jinx at Ringarooma Primary School last week.
It was of course a celebration of Book Week, the annual campaign to promote literacy and championed by the Children’s Book Council of Australia for more than 75 years.
Staff at the school joined in the dress up day as Little Miss book characters along with an interesting line-up of bush rangers, farmers, super heroes and their ilk.
The celebration loosely fitted into the Book Week theme of old worlds, new worlds, other worlds.
