Damien Alec William Vidler pleaded guilty to one count of speeding and one count of drink driving.
On October 8 at 8.10pm police saw him speeding on Tasman Highway at Scottsdale and recorded a speed of 115km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The Branxholm man was then given a roadside breath test which returned a positive reading and breath analysis at the Scottsdale station showed his BAC was 0.176.
Mr Vidler was convicted on each count and fined $1500 with costs and levies of $88.04, and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.
Clint John Smith pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving in Bridport on September 27.
At 12.09am police intercepted Mr Smith on Main Street in Bridport for a random breath test, which returned a positive reading.
He told police he had possibly had in excess of 10 drinks that evening.
Mr Smith was taken to the Scottsdale station for breath analysis which returned a BAC reading of 0.185.
He was served with an excessive drink drive notice for 24 months.
Mr Smith was convicted and fined $2,000, with additional costs and levies of $88.04, and disqualified from driving for 24 months, which was backdated to September 27.
A Jetsonville woman, who cannot be named due to a police family violence order, pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault.
The defendant unlawfully assaulted her partner on June 14 by throwing water over him and attempting to push him out of bed during an argument.
She later struck him in the head in self-defence after he held her face down on the floor while verbally abusing her.
No conviction was recorded, with proceedings adjourned for 12 months providing good behaviour is undertaken, and the woman had to pay costs and levies of $105.86.
Dylan Mark Wenn pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving and one count of speeding.
Police pulled Mr Wenn over after seeing him speeding while driving along Tasman Highway on September 14.
His speed was clocked at 125km/h in a 100km/h zone.
A breath test returned a positive reading and breath analysis showed his BAC reading was 0.061.
Mr Wenn was convicted on each count, fined $650 with costs and levies of $88.04, and disqualified from driving for three months starting in February.
Travis Ghia Wilson pleaded guilty selling, supplying and using cannabis and possessing smoking devices.
He was found selling cannabis in Launceston between November 1 and 30 2017.
When police searched his home in Scottsdale on April 4, 2018, Mr Wilson was found supplying cannabis to another person, using cannabis and possessing seven smoking devices.
A destruction order was made for the smoking devices seized during the search.
No conviction was recorded and proceedings were adjourned for 12 months subject to good behaviour and Mr Wilson had to pay costs and levies of $165.86.
A number of other matters were adjourned for hearing at the next session in Scottsdale on February 9, 2021.
