*UPDATE October 31, 2019 4.36pm: Darren Grey was seen in Launceston at City Mission yesterday confirmed to Tasmania Police by CCTV.

Scottsdale resident Darren Gray was last seen by his neighbours on October 10, 2019. Subsequently he was reported missing by his father this week.
Scottsdale Police sergeant Andrew Hanson said Darren told his dad he was moving south, before leaving his unit in George Street.
“Darren was supposed to telephone his father last week, and when he didn’t, his father reported him missing because this was out of character for him.
“Scottsdale Police are carrying out some enquiries to try and locate him but have been having a little trouble getting accurate information from some people who may know where Darren is,” Sergeant Hanson explained.
“There is some information that Darren was seen on October 23 in Scottsdale, but that is yet to be verified.
“Darren doesn’t have a mobile phone, and his family rely on him to call them.
“They are very worried and have been to Scottsdale through the week to gather his belongings from his unit.”
“Whilst there are no immediate concerns for his safety, we suspect that Darren may still be around the Scottsdale area and may not even realise there’s a bit of fuss going on around him!
Sergeant Hanson said that because Darren is reported as a ‘missing person’, police will need to physically see Darren to clear that.
“But at this point, the priority for everyone is that Darren is ok.
“So if you have seen him, or may know where he is, could you please let him know that his family are very worried about him, and it would be appreciated if he could telephone them to let them know he is ok.”
Darren is 48 years of age, around 178cm tall, slim build, brown hair and blue eyes, and is usually carrying a bit of facial hair.
Any information can be passed on to police, who will pass it on to family members.
This can be done directly to Scottsdale police on email: scottsdale@police.tas.gov.au, or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
