Those reliant on the Scottsdale Library's public computers can finally plan to get their online jobs up to date with access now available.
This means community members without computers or internet at home can contact the library to book a timeslot of 30 or 60 minutes to complete their works inhouse.
In further good news, libraries across the state will officially reopen their doors for browsing and borrowing this Thursday June 18 in response to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
Manager Trish Sattler explained that the service would work a little different in the wake of coronavirus.

“Those attending are asked to adhere to physical distancing of 1.5 metres and sanitise hands on arrival,” she said.

“Our printing and scanning is up and running again too, the community will feel more normality when they next come in for a visit.
“Wipes will be available for you to use to sanitise computer workstations and please remember, if you are unwell you won’t be able to visit us.”
Minister for Education and Training Jeremy Rockliff said it was important gathering restrictions are respected while making the library available to everyone.
“Staff will encourage people to minimise the time they spend in the library.
“Libraries will also soon begin offering modified, one-on-one and small group adult learning, Rock and Rhyme, Storytime and school holiday programs in selected libraries.”
Members will still have access to the Click and Collect system and the home Library Service.
Those wishing to book a computer timeslot should call the Scottsdale Library on 6778 8586.
